New double SAS for Inibsa: Innovation and biodecontamination.

Recently, from Kirhtech, the division of Iguña specialized in the custom manufacturing of equipment for protection, containment and aseptic processes in classified environments, we have successfully completed the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and proceeded to the delivery of a double SAS (transfer system) to Inibsa. This equipment guarantees a safe and efficient transfer of materials in critical environments, complying with the highest safety and quality standards required by the pharmaceutical industry.

The SAS delivered has two independent chambers that optimize the material inlet and outlet flows. The upper chamber is designed for the input of materials, where a biodecontamination process is carried out using VH2O2 (hydrogen peroxide vapor). The lower chamber, on the other hand, is dedicated to the output of waste materials, which are decontaminated using a UV radiation system. This design ensures that the aseptic processes comply with the most stringent industry standards.

The equipment complies with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Annex 1 standards and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, ensuring the highest safety, quality and automation in aseptic production. These regulations are critical in the pharmaceutical environment, where precision and contamination control are crucial.

This project has been developed in collaboration with our partner Netsteril, S.L., and reaffirms Kirhtech’s ability to create customized solutions that integrate advanced technologies, covering the most demanding needs of the pharmaceutical sector.
